The UTS City Campus Master Plan has reinvented our campus and the surrounding area. It provides an engaging and student-friendly campus in the heart of Sydney. We’ve created a place where students want to learn, study and socialise.

The Faculty of Engineering and IT Building has cutting-edge facilities and a 3D Data Visualisation Arena. The Science and Graduate School of Health Building offers new teaching, learning and research spaces, including a 200-seat Super Lab. The Dr Chau Chak Wing Building – the only building in Australia designed by Frank Gehry – is UTS Business School’s new home. The Alumni Green forms the university’s new green heart.


UTS is located in the heart of Sydney, one of the world's most vibrant, friendly and livable cities. Our campus is within easy walking distance of Central Station - Sydney's major transport hub.

Our UTS Careers Service will help you enhance your employability opportunities through career consultations, job listings and the chance to connect with industry professionals and graduate recruiters at Careers Fairs. The Accomplish Award program develops essential skills to ensure success in the graduate recruitment process and the Australian and global workforce.

There’s also the opportunity to develop leadership skills through our BUiLD program and engage in local volunteering activities through Community Connections.

Each faculty at UTS has an industry advisory board. Our courses are developed in consultation with industry to ensure students are learning the most up-to-date techniques and industry best practice. Many of our courses are also accredited by a wide range of professional associations and governing bodies, giving students the capacity to work internationally. 

UTS courses include major projects, real-life case studies, extensive group work and field trips, and include professional placement and work experience subjects, which equip students with valuable practical skills. Internship opportunities also help students place their knowledge in a real-world context.
